OUR STORY

Humane Wildlife Control Inc. was founded by husband and wife team, Duane Titus and Rebecca Dmytryk, to offer an alternative approach to nuisance wildlife control - one that is based on strong ethical principles and respect for the intrinsic value of non-human beings.

HWC's methods are unique in the industry. Whereas conventional pest control companies focus on 'getting rid of' the animal(s), our goal is to identify and address the factors contributing to the nuisance, in an attempt to resolve the problem permanently.

In addressing human-wildlife conflicts, the animals' welfare is always a priority. We take the time it takes to design the best strategy that will cause the animal the least amount of distress, yet be effective. See our Code of Ethics, HERE.

Although we are based in California, we offer Remote Consulting through FaceTime and Zoom, as well as online guidance for do-it-yourselfers.

Locally, our service areas include the counties of Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito, and portions of San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. Our Southern California location serves Agoura, Calabasas, Malibu and portions of the Westside.
