I'd like to add, that in the LA area, where TNR is heavily practiced, feral cat colonies are often situated outside of residential areas and closer to greenbelts, where the carers think the cats will find shelter. Being timid, these ferals are prone to being more nocturnal. A set-up for failure. Trap neuter and "re-abandonment" programs must be held accountable. - Rebecca
