Coyotes: City to use non-lethal options, for now

In August, HWC was awarded a contract to perform a survey of coyote activity in Manhattan Beach after the town had experienced an uptick in coyote sightings and at least one pet predation.

Our report to city officials recommended non-lethal strategies, saving lethal removal for incidents involving severely injured or aggressive animals.

We are very proud - very honored - to have been appointed to help the City, and we look forward to working with Manhattan Beach and other municipalities with humane and sustainable wildlife management plans.
